Child and Family Therapy
Our “Child and Family Therapy” service provides core mental health treatment and support to children, youth, and families. The primary goal of this therapy is to help bring parents and children together and help with the formation of a stronger bond between parents and their children. Our Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) provide effective child-family counselling services that help maintain parent-child, and parent-adolescent relationships. They also address relationship issues among siblings. Each counsellor brings their own unique approach to help you and your family understand and work through the different dynamics in your family. The Child and Family counselling sessions include multiple sessions of therapy to help with a comprehensive understanding of issues that may trigger or continue a child or family’s difficulties.
Some of the issues which Child and Family counselling can address include but are not limited to:
-
Anger Management
-
Separation Anxiety
-
Cognitive Challenges
-
Behavioral Problems
-
Parenting Difficulties
